You are what you type ...

Here is an item that drives me nuts. (Yes its a very, very short drive). Unlike in real life where how you dress, the color or your hair, your breath or bad breath as the case may be are how people judge you on first meeting, here it is what you say that will set the the tone of how you are precieved. There are so many examples I could give but I will settle for 2, one mis spellings and grammer errors, the other links or referecnces to links that are incorrect or don't work. For newbies and old guys alike we all need to pay a bit more attention to what we say or post. Comments are welcome. (I am sure there will be some).

Hi David; The two I hate worst are... 1) Lame one liners with lots of affiliate links... such as; "Thanks for the post. for the info. my-affiliate-link my-other-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and 2) The ones that just post a blatant ad full of links. I find posting blatant ads in someone else's forum to be just plain rude. They could at least save those for their own forum. Heh.. : ) L

Well said David and Linda, I agree with you both. And Linda... ================ "Thanks for the post. for the info. my-affiliate-link my-other-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link and another-affiliate-link" ================= That was pretty crafty! From my point of view there is another thing that I detest seeing in posts - endless religious quotes from the Bible. Some people just can't help themselves with that. It's like they are trying to add weight or credibility to their (often weak) viewpoint by adding some obscure passage of scripture. Then to top it off they say something really dumb like "I humbly pay my deepest respect and honour and gratitude to you and pray deeply for your soul." Like duh! Does anybody else dislike that stuff? Gary Simpson PS: I had another 16 links but decided, in view of the above, to drop the other 15. LOL.

We should all write back and say "do not pray for me I am going to hell anyway". :)
