Hi Marilyn,
I don't get in to forums much any more, not because I don't want to but because Shirley and I have been so busy lately. This one caught my eye, however. You did a great job. When Shirley and I have our Showcases, I have to look at it in business terms. I listen to the performer for quality, I watch and listen to the audience for response, but especially I observe the performers facial expressions. Is he or she singing the song, or is he or she living the moment. I compliment each and every performance, however, when a girl, or guy, is singing a love song and I see a single teardrop rolling slowly down the cheek, and disappearing into oblivion I know that this performer is living the moment. This is the one that I will concentrate on the most because this arists has stepped out of his/her world and stepped in to the realm of the song. We need songs and artists that give pride to the industry. Above all, we need to stay with the song until the end.
God Bless You All
Mike
