Hi, Trina and John, I thought this sort of hoax was long gone - but obviously it still persists. The thing I don't undertsand about them is that the person who starts them is expecting some sort of reward (by way of a thrill?) for causing chaos but how can they enjoy something they don't see the results of? Thanks for this information Dave. I'm on broard band and my computor is always slow. Trina say's she scan's her system every day, with several different virus/ spyware programs. My question is how do you get access to all the different virus/spyware programs. The ones I tried ask you to upgrade before they can delete any virus they find. This can be very costly if you have to pay for each program you use. I paid quite a considerable cost for one such program which came up with a virus every time I attempted to use it. I kept getting the same results even after many attempts to get the problem fixed by the provider. I ended up uninstalling the program altogether at a lost to myself. I am currently using two free virus/spyware programs but my computor is still slow to change from one site to another. I often get a small square box coming up stating that explorer can't connect and my computor shuts down loosing some of the programs I looking at. Anyone got any answers......
