Just thought I'd share an interesting observation. Last week I sent one of my friends a "Happy Birthday" message. I got a reply that said "My birthday is tomorrow, but thanks..."
I thought it was odd, because I SAW the sparkling balloons. lol Today, I understand that a lot better.
Yesterday, I was literally bombed with Happy Birthday messages. (which was very nice and thank you all)
Today, I'm getting "Happy Belated Birthday, sorry I missed it" messages.
Funny thing is, TODAY is my birthday. So all those belated messages are actually right on time. lol
As it would seem, the birthday balloons count the days UP TO a birthday. Your birthday is day 1 of the count - so when you see "0" days until someone's birthday, their birthday is actually the next day.
Thought you might like to know for when you see sparkling balloons in a profile...
