February 20-26 is International Friendship Week - Tell us where you live
2/23/2006 3:04:26 PM
Hi everyone, I just learned that February 20-26 is International Friendship Week. In light of this event, tell us where you're from and describe where you live. It's fun to read about where everyone is from! Here's mine: It is fun to read where everyone is from! I am a North Carolina gal currently living in Michigan for a very special reason. 8 years ago I met a wonderful man online, and after 6 months of a whirlwind courtship - with him driving from Michigan to North Carolina every other weekend for 5 of those months - I married him and moved to Michigan. We do plan to move back to North Carolina this year. For the last couple of years we have been looking at property with our realtor in the NC mountains - Lake Lure near Asheville. Last year when we learned that the HGTV dream home was actually being build in Lake Lure, we decided we were destined to WIN it... so that is what we are manifesting and planning. The key will be delivered to us on April 22 and we will be moving into our new 5,700 square foot mountain home shortly thereafter You can see our new home at the HGTV website: http://www.HGTV.com You'll have to come see us when we get settled in. We will have plenty of room for everyone! Oh, I have already written my Virtual Visualization of winning the dream house here: http://www.ManifestingMyLife.com Today, as I live in Michigan and plan my move back to NC, I am very grateful for the man - Dennis - who was able to get this southern girl to move to the frozen north. Now, you know me! YOUR TURN!
Help us spread the message to the world... http://www.themessage2000.com/messengers/lindamiller Linda Miller 828-652-4714 Nebo, North Carolina

Oh Linda, I'm going in those links girlfriend. I live in Mississippi. Moved here from Southern California to be with family and for a healthier lifestyle. At the time I cared for my mother and actually, moving here gave her an additional year of life. Fresh air, beautiful country. We lived in the country in California too, the country being desert. Real estate is so very expensive there, that we sold our home with two acres of land and paid cash for a house with 20 acres of land. Mom is gone now. Immediately after her death the world of internet marketing opened up. I now live in the peaceful country. I go to a really nice dountry church, and I have my bus kids and assisted living elderlies to keep me busy. They are now my new moms and dads.

Hello from sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico Land of Enchantment Best and warmest wishes to all my Adlandpro friends! I woke up dreaming of walking on a warm sunny beach, to get out of bed to a burst water pipe in the condo on the third floor above us.... and water... our damages isn't too bad, but the first floor really got it! So today was cleaning up the mess... And I am not sure what to do to prevent mold damage. ;-) Linda

Hi, Linda(s), I have lived in quite a few places around the world but have now settled in a small apartment inland from the Costa del Sol in Spain. My docors sent me to the island of Ibiza 8 years ago so I could spend the last few days of my life in the sun. They got it wrong again! The Spanish life style suits me and the weather is glorious (although I can see snow on Las Sierras de las Nieves, just a few miles away). Regards Arthur

Hi Linda, and fellow ALPro'ers, Have you heard of Calgary, Alberta, in the Canadian frozen west? That's where I've lived since 1978 when I left South Africa. Talk about a life-altering experience! I've grown to love Calgary, mainly because it is close to the Rockie Mountains - about 1 1/2 hours by car. South Africa is very beautiful in parts, but the Rockies are spectacular. My sister from S.A. stayed with me for 3 weeks this month, and we spent 4 glorious nights in Banff. It was a slice of Heaven, renewing our serenity so we could face having to part once more. Blessings to all.
