Hi Kathy. I agree with MOST of what you said. I don't agree with not showing interest and a POSITIVE explanation when people ask what I do for a living. I don't know many people who won't offer an explanation about their occupation. In fact, don't don't now anyone that made me drag that kind of info from them. Doctors, teachers, preachers, meat cutters: they all tell us what their occupations are, why shouldn't I?? I expecially will tell people know about the terrific product that I have been using. I'm proud of what I do and I will tell people that. I am like you. I won't beg people to join me. They can if they want! Blessings, Pat You said: "Today, I'm completely neutral when someone asks me about my business. I don't offer information. I don't even open my mouth until they ask me questions. I make them DRAG the info out of me and pursue it, instead of forcing it down their throat. And in the end, I could TRULY care less if they join me or not, and they can sense that... Which is why they join me. When people realize that you don't come from a place of "need", then they see value in working with You."

I can go along with most of that Kathy. If you sound desparate, they'll hear it and flee. No one wants to be associated with a desparate person, especially in business. I typically approach people from the angle of how I can help them. I don't try to sell, I offer a solution to their problem. I give them information and let them decide. If they say no, I thank them for their time and move on. I value my time, and I don't waste it trying to convince people to join me. I prefer to provide information and put the ball in their court. What they do with the information I give is their deal. If they want to work with me, FANTASTIC! If they don't... NEXT. Just because my business makes sense to me doesn't mean it is right for everyone. If you have to badger someone into joining, they will quit you. If someone joins you because they see the same picture you do, they'll be in for the long haul. That is why I don't waste my time sending every member of Adland Pro an advertisement to join my Melaleuca business. If you want to know what I do, you go to my profile page and find out. If you're interesed in more information, you'll also know how to contact me to get it. ;) Have an awesome day! Trina

Hello Kathy Martin,(and all) I think you all make very good points. My largest down-line (pay structure) is 4,000 to date, and growing daily by 7 to 76 joiners every 24 hours. (using 99% free ads) Believe it or not, it is free store club. i joined 7 july '05 up-graded to silver ($10. month) nov. '05 to qualify for residuals, etc. dynamite potential. takes a little work. but is a great program. ron s. http://ronstouder1.freestoreclub.com free to join. stay a free member as long as you like. if interested.

really great advice about recruiting. I can't seem to recruit anyone into my downline with a great company with over 40 years of marketing. That company is Jerky Direct. Enroll today for $12.00 a month... recruit 6 friends under your website and 2 4oz bags of jerky are free. Thats $2.00 per person in your downline on your 1st level http://www.futuremeat.jerkydirect.com Doug Moore
