Hi Dave, I can't narrow it down to one amazing moment. There have been many I guess. Getting married, giving birth to two sons, working with the mentally ill to improve the quality of their lives, seeing Willie Nelson in concert, having Robert Kennedy visit my school, and many more moments were memorable for me. Hi Donna, It's good to have more than one "amazing moment!" These are things that cause us to pause and ponder life. Whether they are positive or negative events, as in the case of 9-11, they give us a deeper appreciation for what we have, and hopefully, greater compassion for others. God bless, Dave

Hi Dave; What a great subject. I have been waiting to say this to someone for a long time. Maybe some of you out there have experienced similar feelings. Once I turned about 55, I started to notice that all of nature was more beautiful, especially in the spring with everything being reborn. From the birth of a baby to the opening of a flower, things seemed to have more depth, I am 62 now and I feel this all the time. Life itself is amazing. I did not used to feel this way, I ask you, does it come with age. Or is it the mind expanding as the world gets smaller. We know and see so much more with modern communications.

Hi Erma, ----------------------------------------------------------- I did not used to feel this way, I ask you, does it come with age. ----------------------------------------------------------- That's a good question! I think, perhaps, it does. When we're younger, we tend to be trying to get everything in as fast as we can in case we miss out. What we don't realize is that we ARE missing out! It's really important to lift our head once in a while, take a deep breath, and just look at the beauty around us. Thanks for posting. God bless, Dave

Hi Dave, You have some interesting forums. I have never been so amazed as the day Neal Armstrong Stepped on the Moon and uttered those now famous words " Thats one small step for man... One giant leap for mankind.
