If you’re an active reader of this website, and if you’ve followed Dennis Michael Lynch over the years, then you know DML and staff are not necessarily the biggest fans of Hillary Clinton. And that’s putting it lightly. But we’ll get back to that in a moment.
We here at Team DML value our readers. We take pride in what we do. We stand tall with integrity, and we always go the extra mile to give our readers the truth. From time to time we may get a number wrong, or misspell a name, or make a human error of some kind, and when we do we’ll admit to the error and try fix it somehow. But never would we seek to purposely alter a story or provide misleading information in exchange for clicks and shares. Nor would we mislead our readers solely for the purpose of pushing a political agenda or to destroy a human being even if we don’t like the person.
DML realizes our readers go to other websites for information, and sometimes the information on those websites will be sent to us. For example, each day people send us news stories from other websites and ask that we “check it out” to see if the story is credible.
Earlier today we received an email from an avid reader who asked that we look into a story running on a popular conservative website. According to the website, Hillary Clinton took a neurological test while at the 9/11 ceremonies. The website offers a picture and the following commentary:
“Despite her campaign claiming it was pneumonia that led to her ill health in New York on Sunday, Hillary Clinton was caught on camera receiving a neurological test from someone who appeared to be a nurse.
The image shows Hillary grasping the woman’s fingers with her fist, which is a classic motor neuron test to determine abnormalities in the nervous system.
The NYU School of Medicine details how the test is conducted:
“Test the patient’s grip by having the patient hold the examiner’s fingers in their fist tightly and instructing them not to let go while the examiner attempts to remove them. Normally the examiner cannot remove their fingers. This tests the forearm flexors and the intrinsic hand muscles. Compare the hands for strength asymmetry.
