Anyway… there was a newly married couple, whose husband decided to impress his new bride by cooking a lamb roast.

As he was preparing the leg of lamb, she noticed that he took a big knife and chopped off the end of the roast.

She asked why and he said that’s how his mom did it.

So the next time they visited his mum they asked:

“Mom, why do you have to chop off the end of the lamb roast? Is it a flavour thing? What is it?”

She said that is how my mum taught me to do it.

VERY curious now, they decided to pay their grandma a visit to find out the truth behind the lamb.

Approaching their grandma, he asked, “What’s the trick behind chopping off the end of the lamb roast?

She replied … “The oven tray I had was too small to fit it all in.”
