So easy to say and not so easy to do. Some have endured tremendous difficulties and they seem to endure and continue to believe. Others with little to endure stay at that level and wallow in it.

I think of Helen Keller, blind, deaf and without intelligble speech who conveyed this thought, "Your success and happiness lies within you". So believe it's there, look for that success and happiness in yourself and then spread your belief and joy today. Whether this is your day to toil or endure just believe in yourself and move on.

Hi, Mary, Yes, Seneca was a wise and bloodthirsty guy. Maybe, in this day, age and concept we should substitute 'success' for 'conquest'. Always remember, as the followers of Seneca discovered, while there is nothing that can be won that you cannot win, there is also nothing that can be lost that you cannot lose.
