With Election Day earlier this week, I’ve been thinking about our local government, our country and our world – and the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, spoken on August 28, 1963. Dr. King’s dream of oneness, freedom, equality and justice for all people inspires me.

“I have a dream today!

“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”

“This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with.”

“With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together … to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.”

There is One Power, One Presence, ONE DREAM that is God. God is the Loving Spirit that is the Creator, the being that is in back of everything that exists. It is in all beings, all places and all times. This Presence is Love. Love is the single unifying foundation and brings forth Harmony, Clarity, Wisdom, Abundance and Truth. Love is the Creative Consciousness of the Universe. Those qualities are the nature of God and the nature of all that exists.

I unify with that Love, because as I am a part of All that Is, I am made of that same Love. The Love of the Infinite flows through me now. I am enveloped in and surrounded by Faith, Wisdom, Clarity, Harmony, and Abundance – and so is everyone!

I know for me and for each person reading these words that Love is the presence we exhault in our lives today. Every person we meet, everything we touch is bettered by our presence. All that we do today is quickened into right action. All places that seem to be rough in our lives are made straight. Anything blocking the manifestation of Love, of Perfect Health, of Prosperity and Abundance falls away like rain – revealing the perfection underneath – cleansing and washing us clean. This is God’s perfect moment, right here, and right now. Our Faith is powerful and moves seeming mountains today!

I am so grateful to know this Truth! I am grateful for the action of the Law upon my words, for the Science of Mind philosophy, our beautiful Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living community throughout the world.

And with a heart filled with thanks, I release this word into the Canyon of the Law, knowing that as my words echo in a canyon, these words spoken and read today echo back the perfect manifestation!

And so it is!
