“….regardless of all appearancs, God alone is, and God alone is the entity and identity of all being.”

Joel S. Goldsmith

“Realization of Oneness”

Whenever I find myself standing in front of a mirror scantly clad, I must admit, my eyes see an image that I consider to be less than beautiful! Yet, I am fully aware that what I am really looking with and what I am looking at is God expressing Itself, as me. How could this be? As fast as that question comes to my consciousness, the next thought is, why not? No one has ever seen God except through their own eyes when looking at another living being. God is not a person, but a Presence personified in each of us! It stand to reason, then, that I am and you are, God expressing Itself through and as each of us. How, then, can I look upon God in form, and think of It as less than beautiful, except that my thought is one of separation. Even while thinking this thought, I KNOW that I am incapable of being separated from the Source which breathes me, speaks through me, animates my body and lives Its Life, through me! This Spirit in me constitutes my entire person-hood! “God alone is the entity and identity of all being” and that includes me! I am and you are the individualizations of Spirit, living, breathing, loving and expressing Itself as that which has been identified as me and that which has been identified as you! We often think of ourselves as finite, yet the nature of Spirit living in us makes us so much more.

Take the story of the butterfly. During its experience as a caterpillar, it had no idea (or maybe it did) that its true beauty lay dormant within its very unattractive, lumpy, earthbound body until it surrendered to that which is greater than itself and accepted its true nature and thereby, allowing itself to become that which God intended it to be….a beautiful, strong yet delicate, beloved, unique butterfly, and instead of crawling on the ground and tree branches, it soared to heights unknown and traveled long distances, to express that which is its nature to do. Our true nature is Source/Spirit/God ( or any name you choose to call it) and expresses Itself in each of us AS us. Would we consider doing/being less than the butterfly? I think not!

Therefore, I declare for myself and for each person reading this treatment, that the indwelling Spirit of God within each of us is our entire beingness, in all Its glory, and vistas unknown and untold adventures awaits us. AND SO IT IS!

“You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a drop.” Rumi
