Hi Bill! Thanks so much for your kind reply! It seems that great minds think alike...and this one is learning a little bit more everyday...I have obtained an attorney and he is going to handle the social security thing...I have had power of attorney for about 10 years, but the attorney will see that I am designated payee for Jeffrey's protection. I have my ducks in place this time around, I am very proud of myself... Jeffrey had been approved for patient medication assistance and I have the renewel app on my desk... I have heard of some wonderful mental health facilities in northern california which I want to look in to... Yes, they will send him to the state hospital for up to 180 as he is on involuntary commitment status. I don't know if that is good or bad, but it got him off of the streets! I have spoken to him a couple of times and he sounds pretty good. A little more drugged than I would like to hear...but more and more, I am coming to grips with this silent monster that has come into our lives. On another note, my motherboard fried, so I am using the library computer and it is difficult to secure one at any given time...hopefully I will be up and running in a week or so.... We'll talk more about Jeffrey, when I get my box fixed. He is in limbo right now waiting for a bed at the state facility. Your friend in Oregon, Julia Youngblood

Good Job Julia The mental health system is very difficult learn. There are many twists and turns and things can change on a moments notice. Now, with the things you have in place for Jeffrey's and your protection, you will find it much easier to wade through the minefields of mental health. Thank you for sharring what you have learned so far. I know that you will continue to keep us informed and you know that you have all of our blessings Julia. Remember too that I am open, 23/7. I do take an hour off now and then but nobody ever knows when it might be LOL. Say hello to Jeffrey for me and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May a smile follow you to sleep each night,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and be there waiting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, when you awaken.
