When it comes to any form of marketing from writing email messages to articles the point is for people to read what you have written.

While I think it is safe to say that we all know that we should examine any writing before publishing, sometimes the trick is knowing what or how to edit productively.

I found this tool - Xmailwrite, which will test the quality of reading.

It will highlight long sentences, overused words, indicate possible spam sounding phrases.

Is will also show the Flesch-Kincaid grade level ( this is an important consideration when writing anything). For example a score of 7.0 is typical for a grade seven student ( about 12 years old) and this is the age that most will be able to understand a document.
