The Rippln Implosion
6/4/2014 1:23:45 AM
I was invited to this when it started and yes, i started my ripple and really grew. Thanks to a few very good friends and a large market in Asia, my team built a 6000+ member pre launch team. We were ready to roll and make some money. I mean just read this article and the names of the instigators of this Rippln social thing. But when I found out it was based all off apps and there was no real social site I could find. I terminated and suggested that my team do the same thing. It just felt hinky to and it has proved to be a real turkey.

When I got involved, my first negative thought was jeez I am building one heel of a list for Russell. But I plodded on for a bit and glad I bailed when I did with my team.

Now these guys failed to deliver but I do not believe it was nefarious to begin with. i believe they failed to do some due diligence caused their own implosion. Heck even Dooly was involved, was my thinking but hey we all make mistakes.

Keep your eyes and mind open, but even then you get stuck every now and again.

The Rippln Implosion

The Rippln Pyramid ExplodesOh, did you take it seriously? Did you really buy into all that hype? Did you actually think you’d become rich by sharing your uninteresting status updates or some stupid apps? Oh no … don’t tell me that you told your caring parents to go **** themselves because they didn’t believe the “bigger-than-email social revolution”?

Do you feel that saddening sadness … and enraging rage? This totally ladylike blog sympathizes with your soreness … although you probably were kinda a douche towards her.

A manipulative requiem from one of Rippln’s co-crooks, Jim Bunch, to the racket’s remaining victims:

Hi Friends,

I wanted to personally connect with you all and let you know that Rippln will be closing it’s doors very soon.

As you may have heard, I brought investors to the table to acquire Rippln and bring it back to the original vision and mission. Unfortunately, the due diligence made it apparent that we would not be able to raise the next round of VC capital that would be necessary to take Rippln where it needed to go and therefore the investors had to decline the opportunity to purchase Rippln.

Please know that I respect and appreciate each and everyone of you and the contributions you made. Reaching out to your trusted friends and family and sharing the vision shows a great commitment on your part.

Also know that the partners in Rippln invested an enormous amount of time, energy and resources to give it a chance at success. The goal was to do something that had never been done before…and while there were a number of those things accomplished, in the end, there were a few things that could not be overcome.

Please feel free to reach out to me personally if you feel the need to do so and I’ll be happy to connect with you each. There are a few really great lessons I personally am grateful for and I hope you invest a few moments in capturing your lessons and insights so we can all look back and appreciate the gifts we were given by being a part of this company.

It’s now time to focus my full attention to the Vision and Mission of The Ultimate Game, which is to Inspire Happiness, Health and Wealth Worldwide.

Thank you again for your trust and energy, I really do love and appreciate you all.

Awww … if not for all the intentional soul-sucking I could have almost felt sorry for the little rascal.

At this point, it’s pretty difficult to say that Rippln is dead … because Rippln never actually lived. It was a mere illusion. Smoke and mirrors, cliché-ingly speaking. Just an illusory apparition with one single design- to enrich only the few lying spoiled scumbags at the top.

Rippln had completely stopped functioning for at least a few months now … what obviously doesn’t hinder its unscrupulous pharaohs from still charging their recurring fees. The fact that the town had already been utterly ransacked doesn’t mean they should give up those fine maidens (because, like, **** Apollo).

Nope, it’s not a surprise. It’s quite inevitable that what was knowingly devised right from the very beginning as a horrid pyramid scheme (camouflaged as a “revolutionary start-up”) would ultimately implode. The alleged “vision,” “mission,” and “goal” were always just the cultish rhetorical means to obscure the true exploitative purpose of the scam.

And many believers were indeed horribly scammed (and some still are).

But I have no wish to allow the criminals, who had relished the misery of others, to just smoothly hop into their next wiles and ruses (and rest assured that all of them will try to). If you are wondering who are those main scoundrels responsible for the harm of the fraudulent sham that is Rippln, here are their names (for shame, y’all):

  • Terry Lacore
  • Brian Underwood
  • Jonathan Budd
  • Jim Bunch
  • Russell Brunson
  • Troy Dooly (I didn’t forget your greedy ass, sellout)

If you’ve been defrauded by Rippln, you are encouraged to file a complaint with the FTC against this scam company (as Rippln, Inc.) and all the aforementioned names. Who knows, perhaps one day the protection agency will actually get its act together.

And for those said Rippln douchebags who are reading this, don’t expect a silent submission … because just maybe you’ll soon find your narcissistic smug faces appear on one very implacable anti-scam website.

Down he came, in fury, from the heights of Olympus, with his bow and inlaid quiver at his back. The arrows rattled at his shoulder as the god descended like the night, in anger. He set down by the ships, and fired a shaft, with a fearful twang of his silver bow. First he attacked the mules, and the swift hounds, then loosed his vicious darts at the men; so the dense pyres for the dead burned endlessly. http://www.glancingweb.com/2720/the-rippln-implosion

May Wisdom and the knowledge you gained go with you,
