Hi dear friends,

So glad to see you here. I have been particularly missing you, Roger, or rather your short, stimulating comments. As you know, you and Myrna are my two main visitors and posters.

In this connection, I have been trying to keep this forum alive with short yet attractive topics which, in your words, can be exciting and fascinating. This thread on the Parmigianino and his 'Schiava Turca' certainly attest to it.

It doesn't mean, however, that I don't long for the main, important ones that used to draw lots of visitors. If possible, I hope to start one featuring a great artist (let me please keep his name secret for the time being) in about one week from now.

See you soon,

Miguel

Dear friends,

I guess these well-known, exquisite paintings by Parmigianino are in order here. I hope you like them.

Madonna and Child with Saints
(oil on wood, c. 1530)

Madonna with Long Neck
(oil on panel, 1534 - 1540)

Portrait of a Young Lady
(oil on canvas, c. 1535
