Marion,
Thank you so much for this lovely story about what matters most in life.
It's the little things in life that count for so much...spending time with those we love can never be under estimated.
My mom and dad used the term "LOVE BANK" and when I was younger I could not undetstand what they meant.
Every Saturday morning my MOM, DAD, all us kids and Grandmothers went out for breakfast at a local cafe near our home.
At seven AM every Saturday we would sit in the same spot and it seemed order the same foods.
My DAD would put his arm around my MOM and ask her what her plans for the day were.
Every Saturday I use to whine and complain "do I have togo"?
"Can't I just stay home and sleep in"
?
"Nope". Was my father's reply "because were investing in the LOVE BANK and your the deposit".
As time past and I left the safety and the comforts of my home and family to create my own home...
I realized what my parents meant by the term "LOVE BANK" and I tried to practice what they lived and preached. :)
Your friend,
