Linda, I'm sure glad we're friends! This bouncing ideas off each other sure opens some interesting lines of thought, doesn't it? Now I have all kinds of questions about cultural differences and similarities. I think I'm going to end up with a much bigger project than I ever envisioned. Cheri

Hi Linda, Another thing to consider is how people access the net. Many people in Japan access the net through cellphones, and a standard web page will be displaye quite differently unless an i-mode version is available. Also in Japan, Internet users spend far less time online as the provider charges are higher (especially on a cellphone) and the familiarity with and trust of online shopping is far lower (though it is a growing area here, online shopping, that is).
