	Jim, this is criminal negligence beyond anything anyone has ever dreamed of. It seems that governments, (including the US gov't, very obviously) can get away with almost any criminal activity that would land a citizen in jail for eternity, including allowing a business in their country to dump highly toxic waste (radiation) into the water, air and ground indefinitely. The only answer for us poor peons on the west coast is to eat food that helps our bodies counteract radiation AND destroy/flush out cancer cells. In the end, we all have a date with death, by one cause or another, but the really sad thing is that this is the heritage that we are leaving to our children's children. Dave

	Sorry that this makes your day Luis, no sarcasm meant. I agree that there appears little we can do, so why worry about the global climate change? Or anything else for that matter. Basically we killed our future generations and watched it happen. This did not have to get this bad. Why was Japan secretive? Revenge? What would you call a 33-year-old man who both had and axiomatically acted upon a deviant sexual appetite for underage, drug-addicted, runaway boys? (No, not Jerry Sandusky.) What would you call a man of whom, as regards sexual preference, his own friend and biographer confessed, “Harvey always had a penchant for young waifs with substance abuse problems”? In a recent interview with OneNewsNow.com, I called this man “demonstrably, categorically an evil man based on his [statutory] rape of teenage boys.” But you can call him Harvey Milk. Harvey Milk’s only claim to fame is that he was the first openly homosexual candidate to be elected to public office (San Francisco city commissioner). His chief cause was to do away with the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic. In 1978 Milk was murdered over a non-related political dispute by fellow Democrat Dan White. And a “progressive” martyr was born. Merriam Webster defines “pederast” as “one who practices anal intercourse especially with a boy.” It defines “statutory rape” as “the crime of having sex with someone who is younger than an age that is specified by law.” Harvey Milk was both a pederast and, by extension, a statutory rapist. After I publicly addressed this objective reality in the above-mentioned interview, the liberal blogosphere reacted in, shall we say, an informatively defensive manner. A Huffington Post headline screamed: “Harvey Milk Was An ‘Evil Man’ Who Raped Teenage Boys, Unworthy of Postage Stamp: Matt Barber.” The always-amusing Right Wing Watch blog breathlessly posted my comments with the header: “Barber: ‘Harvey Milk Was Demonstrably, Categorically an Evil Man.’” And so on. Here’s what’s especially telling about their reaction. Not one of the dozen-or-more publications that reported on my comments even challenged their veracity. Not one attempted to refute or deny that Harvey Milk was, in fact, a pederast and a sexual predator. That’s because they can’t. One of Milk’s victims was a 16-year-old runaway from Maryland named Jack Galen McKinley. As previously mentioned, Milk had a soft spot in his, um, heart for teenage runaways. Motivated by an apparent quid pro quo of prurience, Milk plucked McKinley from the street. Randy Shilts was a San Francisco Chronicle reporter and close friend to Harvey Milk. Though Shilts died of AIDS in 1994, he remains, even today, one of the most beloved journalists in the “LGBT” community. Shilts was also Harvey Milk’s biographer. In his glowing book “The Mayor of Castro Street,” he wrote of Milk’s “relationship” with the McKinley boy: ” … Sixteen-year-old McKinley was looking for some kind of father figure. … At 33, Milk was launching a new life, though he could hardly have imagined the unlikely direction toward which his new lover would pull him.” In a sane world, of course, the only direction his “new lover” should have pulled him was toward San Quentin. But, alas, today’s America – a burgeoning relativist land of make-believe – is anything but sane. Randy Thomasson, child advocate and founder of SaveCalifornia.com, is one of the nation’s foremost experts on Harvey Milk. Of the Shilts biography, Thomasson notes, “Explaining Milk’s many flings and affairs with teenagers and young men, Randy Shilts writes how Milk told one ‘lover’ why it was OK for him to also have multiple relationships simultaneously: ‘As homosexuals, we can’t depend on the heterosexual model. … We grow up with the heterosexual model, but we don’t have to follow it. We should be developing our own lifestyle. There’s no reason why you can’t love more than one person at a time.’” Whereas McKinley, a disturbed runaway boy, desperately sought a “father figure” to provide empathy, compassion, wisdom and direction, he instead found Harvey Milk: a promiscuous sexual predator who found, in McKinley, an opportunity to satisfy a perverse lust for underage flesh. Years later McKinley committed suicide. Another teen who crossed paths with Harvey Milk was Christian convert and former homosexual Gerard Dols. In a 2008 radio interview with Concerned Women for America, Dols shared of how – as a physically disabled teen – the “very nice” Harvey Milk had encouraged him in 1977 to run away from his Minnesota home and come to San Francisco. According to Dols, Milk told him, “Don’t tell your parents,” and later sent him a letter with instructions. Thankfully, the letter was intercepted by Dols’ parents who then filed a complaint with the Minnesota attorney general’s office. The incident was evidently swept under the rug. So what does a man like Harvey Milk get for his apparent crimes? While most sexual predators get time in prison and a dishonorable mention on the registry of sex offenders, Harvey Milk got his own California state holiday (“Harvey Milk Day”) and, more recently, his own commemorative postage stamp, awarded by the Obama administration’s USPS. God bless America? As troubling as the postage stamp may be, to me – the father of a soon-to-be-teenage boy – the specter of having a “Harvey Milk Day” forced upon millions of California children, parents and educators is even more troubling. Especially in light of Milk’s own sordid history with minors. Even so, and quite obviously, not everyone agrees. Some have said that my reality-based assessment of Harvey Milk is “uncivil.” Our historical revisionist friends on the left tend to get a bit snooty when you publicly deconstruct one of their meticulously fabricated mythical martyrs. I find that odd. To me, even the mere notion of elevating, to hero status, a man who statutorily raped teenage boys, is what’s uncivil. Radford, Physician and Epidemiologist While a highly coordinated effort is underway by the nuclear industry, mainstream media, medical establishment and world governments to define, justify and reinforce a “safe level of radioactivity” pertaining to the air, the water, the food, and our bodies, the unspoken truth contained within the precautionary principle that there is no safe dose of radiation, nor a safe level of exposure to the 200+ radioisotopes released by the Fukushima reactor complex meltdown, is but an inaudible whisper in the cacophony of a world dominated by universal deception. Regardless of whether we chose to pay attention or not, over the past month a massive number of radiotoxic and genotoxic particles have been released into the atmosphere, oceans and biosphere, and due to the continuous westerly circular flow of the Jet stream no one in the Northern latitudes will be spared some degree of exposure as time proceeds. The question of exposure should not be “if” but “when,” and “how” we deal with it once it happens. Cesium-137 for instance, has a half-life of 30 years (90 years later 12.5% of its radioactivity remains), and due to its similarity to potassium will make its way up the food chain bioaccumulating and distributing broadly in the tissues of both plants and animals as it goes. Eventually all such radioisotopes must meet mankind who is perched precariously on top of an unsustainable, highly toxic food pyramid of his own making, and from which he has an exceedingly difficult time escaping and/or detoxifying. Sufficient evidence exists that certain populations in the United States are already being exposed in their water and food, and until the Fukushima reactor complex stops emptying radioactive material directly into the environment, things are only going to get worse. If you are not disturbed by this information, you may be failing to understand the true nature of this event and the intrinsically insane design of the nuclear industry itself. I quote Dr. Dr. Gofman Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Berkley: “Licensing a nuclear power plant is in my view, licensing random premeditated murder. First of all, when you license a plant, you know what you’re doing–so it’s premeditated. You can’t say, “I didn’t know.” Second, the evidence on radiation-producing cancer is beyond doubt. I’ve worked fifteen years on it [as of 1982], and so have many others. It is not a question any more: radiation produces cancer, and the evidence is good all the way down to the lowest doses. “ Here is another equally revealing quote from an article well worth reading by Professor Chris Busby entitled “Deconstructing Nuclear Experts”: “The nuclear industry is waging a war against humanity.” This war has now entered an endgame which will decide the survival of the human race. Not from sudden nuclear war. But from the on-going and incremental nuclear war which began with the releases to the biosphere in the 60s of all the atmospheric test fallout, and which has continued inexorably since then through Windscale, Kyshtym, 3-Mile Island, Chernobyl, Hanford, Sellafield, La Hague, Iraq and now Fukushima, accompanied by parallel increases in cancer rates and fertility loss to the human race.” Were it not for half a century of “nuclear medicine,” “radiotherapy,” “electronic pasteurization,” and related oxymoronic “humanitarian” and “therapeutic” applications of weapons and fuel sources of mass destruction, or the concerted effort to cover-up the human and planetary harms caused by the wartime use of depleted uranium, nuclear accidents and intentional industry emissions, we might not be so resistant to understanding just how serious the Fukushima reactor meltdown is, and will continue to be. Can anything be more serious than Plutonium-239 having a half-life of 24,100 years and Uranium-238 having a half-life of 4.4 BILLION years? If this event does not bring to our awareness why the nuclear industry must be dismantled, and will be dismantled, if not by us, than the Earth itself, then you have not been paying attention. Failing to see the necessity of this transition, is failing to understand a path forward for our species. A Dying and Deadly Paradigm of Radiation Risk That’s right: Humans use deadly elements like Uranium-238 with a half-life in the BILLIONS of Years to heat water that moves steam powered turbines. The nuclear radiation risk models used by the nuclear industry and the medical establishment and harped upon by the mainstrem media and world governments, were created largely by nuclear physicists in the 1950′s, before the discovery of DNA, and are based upon the type of high energy externalradiation exposures associated with the atomic bomb blast in Hiroshima. This “old world” risk model, which underpins the policies and recommendations of would-be authorities on radiation safety such as the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP), though relevant in the case of external radiation exposure, severely misrepresents both the type and degree of radiotoxicity associated with the internalization of radioisotopes like Radioiodine 131, Cesium 137 and Uranium 238, and subsequent “non-linear” adverse effects in the human body. The ICRP not only conditions the world’s perception on the relative safety of nuclear energy, but is also responsible for underwriting the risk associated with the use of munitions containing depleted uranium (DU) in places like Iraq, and now Libya. The genotoxic Uranium-238 residues left behind will likely cause pain, suffering, birth defects, miscarriages and premature deaths for countless generations to come. (Learn more about DU) Although radiosotopes like Uranium-238 give off relatively low doses of ionizing radiation when compared to “high dose” external radiation exposure (such that may occur in a nuclear blast), following inhalation or ingestion these alpha particle emitters remain in affected tissues and cells for days, months, years and in some cases, a (subsequently shortened) lifetime, e.g. Strontium-90. On a cellular level, particles of Uranium-238, which are weak emitters of alpha particle radiation (and therefore considered relatively non-radiotoxic), strongly bind and incorporate into the DNA in affected cells. Once a DNA-Uranium complex is formed it is capable of amplifying the genotoxicity of natural background gamma radiation (or medical radiation) to the affected DNA though a phenomenon called “photoelectric enhancement” by up to 55,000 TIMES HIGHER than normally occurs. See this Document for Details: The widespread ignorance over the true dangers associated with “internal radiation exposures” make it possible for CNN’s Sanja Gupta and similar “experts” to (mis)inform the public with all earnestness that radiation associated with the Fukushima meltdown and atmospheric release are of no concern, and is why those who wish to exercise the precautionary principle are often labeled “fear mongers” or “radiophobes.” When pundits talk about passive radiation exposure from a long airplane trip or eating banana being of similar radiotoxicity to the kind presented by a nuclear meltdown, they are reinforcing the fundamental myth of the nuclear age: that releases like Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and now Fukushima are concerns to health only insofar as they involve external doses of radiation high enough to cause acute damage. The dirty secret that the largely cheerleading function of mainstream media conceals on behalf of the nuclear industry is that exceedingly low levels of internalizaed radioisotopes may do exponentionally more harm than present radiation risk models allow for. In order to understand the absurdity of drawing a one-to-one comparison between external and internal radiation exposures, Professor Chris Busby (Scientific Secreatry for the European Comittee on Radiation Risk) draws the analogy between direct comparison between external radiation and internal radiation exposures with warming oneself in front of a fire and eating a red hot coal. Indeed, the public is being lulled into pulling up a comfy chair to warm themselves by the radioactive fire of a disaster the scale of which this world has never known before. A Scientific Sea Change in Our Understanding of Radiation Risk In 2003 the ECRR released a new radiation exposure model, which will forever transform the way we view the nuclear industry and its affect on human health: “The presentation in 2003 of the new radiation exposure model of the European Committee on Radiation Risk caused something of a revolution in the focus of scientists and politicians on the adequacy of previous scientific theories of the effects of radiation on living systems. This was long overdue, of course, since evidence has been available for more than 40 years that it was unsafe to use studies of external acute radiation to inform about risk from internal chronic exposures to evolutionarily novel radionuclides. Such a scientific paradigm shift is not easy: the course and direction of the nuclear, military, economic and political machine dedicated to the development of nuclear energy and its military applications is monolithic and has massive inertia.“ In that report the ECRR showed that the older models of radiation risk used by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR), were clearly wrong and profoundly minimized the adverse health consequences associated with nuclear reactor meltdowns or the use of depleted uranium for military armour and munitions. When the ECRR compared its results to that of the ICRP for total number of deaths resulting from the nuclear project since 1945 the ICRP results in 1, 173,600 million deaths from cancer. The ECRR model predicts 61,600,000 deaths from cancer, 1,600,000 infant deaths and 1,900,000 fetal deaths. In addition the ECRR predicted a 10% loss of life quality integrated over all diseases and conditions in those who were exposed over the period of global weapons fallout. The ECRR also concluded that “the global cancer epidemic is a consequence of exposures to global atmospheric weapons fallout in the period 1959-63 and that more recent releases of radioisotopes to the environment from the operation of the nuclear fuel cycle will result in significant increases in cancer and other types of ill health.” (Source: ECRR report, page 242) I highly suggest you take the time to either read the ECRR document or watch Professor Chris Busby’s video. The information is life-changing, or put differently, describes how the nuclear fuel cycle and the industries it feeds has already changed the lives (and the potential for future life) of all creatures on this planet. It shows that radiation levels at radiation monitoring stations all over the country are elevated. As you will notice, this is particularly true along the west coast of the United States. Every single day, 300 tons of radioactive water from Fukushima enters the Pacific Ocean. That means that the total amount of radioactive material released from Fukushima is constantly increasing, and it is steadily building up in our food chain. Ultimately, all of this nuclear radiation will outlive all of us by a very wide margin. They are saying that it could take up to 40 years to clean up the Fukushima disaster, and meanwhile countless innocent people will develop cancer and other health problems as a result of exposure to high levels of nuclear radiation. We are talking about a nuclear disaster that is absolutely unprecedented, and it is constantly getting worse. The following are 28 signs that the west coast of North America is being absolutely fried with nuclear radiation from Fukushima… 1. Polar bears, seals and walruses along the Alaska coastline are suffering from fur loss and open sores… Wildlife experts are studying whether fur loss and open sores detected in nine polar bears in recent weeks is widespread and related to similar incidents among seals and walruses. The bears were among 33 spotted near Barrow, Alaska, during routine survey work along the Arctic coastline. Tests showed they had “alopecia, or loss of fur, and other skin lesions,” the U.S. Geological Survey said in a statement. 2. There is an epidemic of sea lion deaths along the California coastline… At island rookeries off the Southern California coast, 45 percent of the pups born in June have died, said Sharon Melin, a wildlife biologist for the National Marine Fisheries Service based in Seattle. Normally, less than one-third of the pups would die. It’s gotten so bad in the past two weeks that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration declared an “unusual mortality event.” 3. Along the Pacific coast of Canada and the Alaska coastline, the population of sockeye salmon is at a historic low. Many are blaming Fukushima. 4. Something is causing fish all along the west coast of Canada to bleed from their gills, bellies and eyeballs. 5. Canadian authorities are finding extremely high levels of nuclear radiation in certain fish samples… Some fish samples tested to date have had very high levels of radiation: one sea bass sample collected in July, for example, had 1,000 becquerels per kilogram of cesium. 11. Some experts believe that we could see very high levels of cancer along the west coast just from people eating contaminated fish… “Look at what’s going on now: They’re dumping huge amounts of radioactivity into the ocean — no one expected that in 2011,” Daniel Hirsch, a nuclear policy lecturer at the University of California-Santa Cruz, told Global Security Newswire. “We could have large numbers of cancer from ingestion of fish.” 12. BBC News recently reported that radiation levels around Fukushima are “18 times higher” than previously believed. 13. An EU-funded study concluded that Fukushima released up to 210 quadrillion becquerels of cesium-137 into the atmosphere. 14. Atmospheric radiation from Fukushima reached the west coast of the United States within a few days back in 2011. 15. At this point, 300 tons of contaminated water is pouring into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima every single day. 16. A senior researcher of marine chemistry at the Japan Meteorological Agency’s Meteorological Research Institute says that “30 billion becquerels of radioactive cesium and 30 billion becquerels of radioactive strontium” are being released into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima every single day. 17. According to Tepco, a total of somewhere between 20 trillion and 40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium have gotten into the Pacific Ocean since the Fukushima disaster first began. 18. According to a professor at Tokyo University, 3 gigabecquerels of cesium-137 are flowing into the port at Fukushima Daiichi every single day. 19. It has been estimated that up to 100 times as much nuclear radiation has been released into the ocean from Fukushima than was released during the entire Chernobyl disaster. 20. One recent study concluded that a very large plume of cesium-137 from the Fukushima disaster will start flowing into U.S. coastal watersearly next year… Ocean simulations showed that the plume of radioactive cesium-137 released by the Fukushima disaster in 2011 could begin flowing into U.S. coastal waters starting in early 2014 and peak in 2016. 21. It is being projected that significant levels of cesium-137 will reach every corner of the Pacific Ocean by the year 2020. 22. The Iodine-131, Cesium-137 and Strontium-90 that are constantly coming from Fukushima are going to affect the health of those living the the northern hemisphere for a very, very long time. Just consider whatHarvey Wasserman had to say about this… Iodine-131, for example, can be ingested into the thyroid, where it emits beta particles (electrons) that damage tissue. A plague of damaged thyroids has already been reported among as many as 40 percent of the children in the Fukushima area. That percentage can only go higher. In developing youngsters, it can stunt both physical and mental growth. Among adults it causes a very wide range of ancillary ailments, including cancer. Strontium-90’s half-life is around 29 years. It mimics calcium and goes to our bones. 25. According to a recent Planet Infowars report, the California coastline is being transformed into “a dead zone”… The California coastline is becoming like a dead zone. If you haven’t been to a California beach lately, you probably don’t know that the rocks are unnaturally CLEAN – there’s hardly any kelp, barnacles, sea urchins, etc. anymore and the tide pools are similarly eerily devoid of crabs, snails and other scurrying signs of life… and especially as compared to 10 – 15 years ago when one was wise to wear tennis shoes on a trip to the beach in order to avoid cutting one’s feet on all the STUFF of life – broken shells, bones, glass, driftwood, etc. There are also days when I am hard-pressed to find even a half dozen seagulls and/or terns on the county beach. You can still find a few gulls trolling the picnic areas and some of the restaurants (with outdoor seating areas) for food, of course, but, when I think back to 10 – 15 years ago, the skies and ALL the beaches were literally filled with seagulls and the haunting sound of their cries both day and night… NOW it’s unnaturally quiet. 26. A study conducted last year came to the conclusion that radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster could negatively affect human life along the west coast of North America from Mexico to Alaska “for decades”. 27. According to the Wall Street Journal, it is being projected that the cleanup of Fukushima could take up to 40 years to complete. 28. Yale Professor Charles Perrow is warning that if the cleanup of Fukushima is not handled with 100% precision that humanity could be threatened “for thousands of years“… Conditions in the unit 4 pool, 100 feet from the ground, are perilous, and if any two of the rods touch it could cause a nuclear reaction that would be uncontrollable. The radiation emitted from all these rods, if they are not continually cool and kept separate, would require the evacuation of surrounding areas including Tokyo. Because of the radiation at the site the 6,375 rods in the common storage pool could not be continuously cooled; they would fission and all of humanity will be threatened, for thousands of years. Well, they are here. 680 Chinese troops arrived in Hawaii yesterday, set to do “disaster relief” type drills with the U.S. Some have said that U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama is preparing to implement Martial Law in the U.S. and that the Chinese are here to run FEMA camps (the communist regime has a bit of experience with such things- i.e. Burma/Myanmar). The U.S. Government has been trying to assure the public that it’s simply a “disaster relief” drill, nothing more. The question one has to ask, however, is why, when the largest typhoon in the recorded history of mankind, Typhoon Haiyan, has just decimated the country of the Philippines, a country literally within sight of the unaided eye from China’s southern border, would Chinese disaster relief troops go half a world away to “practice” in the U.S. when they could be providing real aid to real people merely an hour’s boat ride away from home?
