Hello Louise:
As I am going through forums, this one caught my attention today.
What a wonderful written piece! You have a gift for the written word. I hope you realize this and use it in your life.
Yes, abundance is many things to all of us.
I have really had to come to terms with this over the past 2 years when my husband lost a good-paying job, crashed our main van & our other car needed a major repair all in the same week.
Over these past several years from this adversity, I discovered my long, hidden voice and started writing poetry. To be able to express my feelings - past & present - is when I finally starting the real healing in my life.
They say everything has its reason and I truly believe that. Out of extreme adversity rises our greatest opportunities for growth.
I had to look at my life in a very different way and realize that material things mean nothing in the bigger scheme which is our lives. We downsized, sold off excess and learned to live within our means and without credit.
Abundance today means being grateful for my health, first and foremost, my family and my children (even though my greatest challenge presently), and just believing and knowing that we will be provided for. Letting go and having this blind trust have been challenging.
Life to me is a gift but how we use it is really who we really are and will lead us towards the greater purpose for our lives.
I am also grateful for people like you and all those at Adland who are enriching my life with their stories and their voice.
Blessings to you all,
Elaine
