Good morning Saidev and thanks for asking, however it won't be easy to please your curiosity this time.

Each single appearance in this world has been constructed by combining so called yin and yang qualitites. Each kid has been born thanks to his mother's and father's contribution. Talking about qualities - it is more than obvious what Virginia Woolf meant. But talking about social roles, which appear as for granted (fatal), the fruit of the "male and female, man AND woman" becomes JUST "a man" or JUST "a woman", what is of course nonsense.

We inherit both qualities, so each woman-in-her-social-role is naturally woman manly, and each man-in-his-social-role is man womanly.
