	Are liberals really THIS DUMB!!!! Or do they have a special class for idiocy? So let me guess, it's up to you to make sure that these for-profit companies that were started by hard working people with a vision and the perseverance to grow them into what they are, pay their employees more than they're worth? Your argument is invalid. You might as well say that if banana then car tire, because it makes about as much sense as the argument you're making that if an industry is large then it must pay its low level workers a living wage. You intentionally failed to mention what their profit margins are, what the ROI is for investing into a franchise, how much they pay in taxes, rent, permitting, insurance, or any other relevant figure that's a part of the formula in which the hourly wages of employees are determined. You are a dishonest hack, and you purposefully chose the largest number related to the industry in an attempt to validate your argument by playing into the emotions of the people who side with you. You obviously know nothing of what it takes to start, run or grow a business and you are one of those people who think money just comes easy and without huge sacrifices by the entrepreneurs who invest in these businesses. You want people to be paid a living wage because they simply show up for work, so if that your standard for pay then why is it the people who invest their time, their money, their talent, and their lives are not allowed to reap the rewards without people like you demanding they give it up for people who haven't done anything close to that? It's people like you that are rapidly causing the descent of our society and you need to stay out of the private affairs of America. Then again, if it weren't for your meddling in places you don't belong you'd have nothing in which to gain support to be elected, because your ideas obviously suck! 	Matt Savage Been saying the same thing all along Beaver! There was a time (not too long ago actually) when we went to work and understood that because we had no/low skillsets that we were going to be paid minimum wage. When I was a dishwasher I didn't complain one bit about this because I had no marketable skillset. I was just happy to have a job. Healthcare wasn't given and people weren't ***ing and crying about not having it. Healthcare was something you worked for. You busted your ass, you got a raise, then after a certain period of time, you were offered healthcare. That's it. It's comments like that which show how people have forgotten what it is to take pride in their work and to keep their head down, work hard, and be rewarded for it. 	A friend and Florida Cracker posted the following on FB today it is hilarious. How would you work the words Nancy Pelosi is a saint into your sermon should you be tasked to do so? The priest in this story nailed it! Need a good laugh for the day? Catholic Mass with Nancy Pelosi. Just too funny not to pass along!!!! Last Saturday afternoon, in Washington , D.C. , an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day's Mass, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint. The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over certain of Pelosi's views." Pelosi's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to your cathedral, if you'll just tell the congregation you see Pelosi as a saint." The Cardinal thought about it and said, "Well, the Church can use the money, so I'll work your request into tomorrow's sermon." As Pelosi's aide promised, Nancy Pelosi appeared for the Sunday worship and seated herself prominently at the forward left side of the center aisle. As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that Ms. Pelosi was present. The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, "While Ms. Pelosi's presence is probably an honor to some, the woman is not numbered among my personal favorite personages. Some of her most egregious views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and she tends to flip- flop on many other issues. Nancy Pelosi is a petty, self -absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker, and a nit-wit. Nancy Pelosi is also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Nancy Pelosi is the worst example of a Catholic I have ever personally witnessed. She married for money and is using her wealth to lie to the American people. She also has a reputation for shirking her Representative obligations both in Washington and in California. The woman is simply not to be trusted." The Cardinal concluded, "But, when compared with President Obama, Ms. Pelosi is a saint."
