Beauty is Everywhere

What a beautiful morning it is here in the Desert. The silhouette of the Manzano mountains as the sun is rising just as I do. I never tire of the morning sky just before sun rise. God led me to the desert because it seems as though the colors are more vibrant which helps me to see them.

With God being the one power of everything, there is no where, where there is not beauty. It can be a test for us to find this beauty and sometimes the timing is critical and the opportunity is fleeting. This is the time when the Cholla Cactus flower. One must be vigilant to see this as it only lasts for a short time. If we blink we will miss it.

Life is that way too, we must always be on the lookout for the beauty and the good in others. It is there, but it is hiding among the rocks and thorns. If we keep looking we will find that flower and we will also see the rocks that are amazing. I have to redefine for myself what is beautiful. This is easier, once I remember that I am one with God, the creator of all this beauty. I can then relax and just let the beauty shine through.

So, today I give Thanks for the beauty that God has created and that God has given me the opportunity to experience it, in all its glory. I take the time to find the beauty in everything.
