Using Social Media Bar to Share Banned Websites
5/6/2013 1:11:03 PM
Hey folks, have you ever heard of SocialMediaBar.com? It is a really wonderful service that is free to use. You can use it to shorten urls, but even more powerful is using it to promote whatever website you want. For example, there are some sites that Facebook, Smiley Traffic and other traffic exchanges have banned maybe due to abuse by some members but that prevents you from sharing that opportunity, but now you can, awesome!

For instance, on Facebook they will not let me promote Empower Network, but thanks to SocialMediaBar.com now I can, so try it today! Thx, Steve Runningman Martinezshopper

P.S. Here's my stab at it: http://socialmediabar.com/martinezshopper
Adlandpro is one of my fave sites as the people are fanta-bulous, the networking is great, having a place to share ads and info rocks! For over 20 years now I've been part of a huge T.E.A.M., where "Together Everyone Achieves More." Our dreams and goals are to help as many folks succeed as possible no matter what occupation or biz you are in. I have 3 main blogs or websites, including expertise in blogging, forums, communities, network marketing, social networking, advertising, lead generation, SEO & more. Love connecting with like-minded individuals. Thanks so much, Mark Stephen Hauser of http://www.facebook.com/martinezshopper and my main blog https://martinezshopperdotws.blogspot.com/

Hi Steve, great to see you and thanks for sharing :-)

I use Bit.ly, ow.ly and Goo.gl because they work, are easy to use and offer analytics and are also free to use.. They are very well respected by everyone including marketers, social media marketers etc.

In a way I find it sad that people who are in empower and write some really good posts are being penalized by Facebook, I guess in part because of the people who were spamming the network and link dropping everywhere.

I guess there are lessons to be learned?

Empower Network now has it's own url changer, that is allowed on FaceBook. You can get it in your back office.

And I've got several "URL shortener/shrinker/changer/masker/redirect" site types with everything you need to set up your own.
It's not hard. Here is an example: http://tinyfav.com
