All information is taken from the official web site of the Foundation "Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" and is related to the year's work and activities of the Foundation.

Discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids dr. Sam Osmanagich, Ph.D. is having a lecture on pyramids in Ciudad Hidalgo, Mexico on May 26th, 2013. He will use the opportunity to present the chronology of the discovery of first European pyramids in Visoko.

Discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids and businessman from Houston, Bosnian-born American author and researcher Dr. Sam Osmanagich, Ph.D. has received United States Congressional Certificate of Recognition on May 24th, 2013 by distinguished U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Lee Jackson.

He was recognized “for continuous support in promoting cultural and economic independence for people new to the United States of America.” Congresswoman Sheila Lee Jackson underlined that “Osmanagich’s commitment to the community is truly worth of respect, admiration and commendation of the United States Congress.”

Dr. Osmanagich received Certificate during the gala dinner at Westin Galeria hotel in Houston in front of City and County Concil persons, County and Municipal judges, President of the University of Houston, media and other public figures.

During the ceremony, Osmanagich also received an honor “Stars Among Us” for his community service and career’s achievements. This honor is traditionally given by the Alliance for Multicultural Community Services from Houston. Alliance has been serving refugees, immigrants and Houston’s low income residents since 1985. First honoree “Stars Among Us” was legendary “Houston Rockets” basketball player Hakeem Olayuwoon (Nigeria) in 1999.

Osmanagich had hired more than 150 Bosnian immigrants to USA in a period 1992-2005 while working as a general manager and President of Houston-based oil companies. Majority of them did not speak English at the time of employment so they were trained for manufacturing and office duties. He was also assisting immigrants from Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Alliance recognized Osmanagich’s achievements in archaeological field, discovery of Bosnian Pyramids and positive promotion of his home country of Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well.

Alliance for Multicultural Community Services is the largest non-profit humanitarian organization in Houston. It’s part of the United Way.

Day after he received the honors, May 25th, Osmanagich flew to Las Vegas to give alive interview to “Lightworkers TV” which is one of the most watched internet TVs.

The following day, May 26th he had a lecture on “Pyramids around the World” in Ciudad de Hidalgo in Mexico. He will spend the end of May in the forests of Mexican State of Michoacan investigating unknown pyramids and artifacts.
