Roger,

I wasn't at home, and from my phone all what could I done, was to send you an empty post, followed by energy of joy and appreciation for bringing this forth. Reading your intro, I have seen a chance to learn even a bit from the area where I am as thin as the spider's web.

Thank you very much.

Now I am reading already posted and thinking how to contribute :).

Hug you my dear Sir!

Dragan Malesevic Tapi was one of the most admired painters of Serbian hyperrealism.

"In sight"
Image size: 500 × 407

"Monte Negro"
Image size: 500 × 378

Image size: 640 × 383 (no other details about this pics could being found)

His life was chaotic and his death ... oh my! Unexpected, almost trivial, during Serbian turbulence in 2002, in the age of 53. He died in police, arrested for ... nothing.

That was a nice panoramic of art in my country, Roger. Thank you very much.

Martin Chambi was a genius of photography, you see a photo of people from Cusco or thereabouts and immediately know if he was the author - not only for its artistic, but for its poetic quality. They offer an important historical legacy.

Here is one of his best known photos.
