This forum has reminded me of how much I have to learn about art and artists. Miguel kindly reminded me that great artists have come out of, and arrived in South America.
I have researched my gap in knowledge and decided to bring to Adland some of the great Latin American artists and concentrate upon the period since 1900. All styles and more exist among these artists who, unless they show outside of Latin America fail to gain world-wide recognition. (There are great exceptions).
Why Latin America? I wanted to cover both South and Central America and felt this was the best description.
