RE: Fake Followers and remembering the adage "Cheaters never prosper"
3/12/2013 2:34:48 AM
Hi Vanessa, thanks for coming and weighing in on the subject. For some reason the fake follower syndrome is happening again, does it go in tides I wonder? The conversation I had with my friends that evening was a lively one for sure as many of them are community managers and get a chance to see things from a very different point of view. While it was definitely a rant ( with humor of course) it made me realize that a lot of people, especially people who are new to being online, might think that this was an "easy" way of doing things...in the end it wont and could hurt not only your reputation ( big time) but if you are wanting to be seen as credible in business..its just not worth it!

I definitely agree.

I like to earn any followers that come my way, because it adds value to them and to me whether personally or in business.
