Vladimir had a dream about the wanderings across the wide open spaces. This eventually took him to Maui in the Hawaiian islands. He thinks of Maui as the 'World's Navel, there the infinity of Great Ocean merges into the infinity of bottomless Cosmos. The 'umbilical cord' connects these open spaces, and I can see it through my super-telescope. In particular, he could see ancient spots of our universe, places where drops of space condense an then turn into drops of time.........

I found the above on another site.

It seems to fit in with observations.

Best prophecy of the new era I have met so far.

Hi Roger,

It is interesting that a few theosophists point out Maui in the Hawaiian island, some as a heart chakra, and the others as a navel chakra. They are from different fields of art, metaphisics and theosophy, and I do not believe that they are connected in any way.

BTW there's a shift in chakras. Second and sixt rotate, third and a crown chakra too. All 10 systems of organs share equality in powers, and heart THANKS GOD loses exceptionality :).

Dear Branka,

Not only Maui, in Hawaii, has been considered to be the Navel of the world. Cuzco in my country, the old capital of the Inca Empire, was also said to be the World's navel by the old Incas. Similarly Jerusalem (originally Salem,
considered to be the center of the world itself) and Bodhgaya in India, where the Buddha conquered Nirvana under the Bodhi tree (a representation of the world axis) are venerated as such even in our days.

In fact, all great ancient cities and locales were created as an image of the
world center and the world axis, which not only conferred them a most sacred character but also seems to have originated a certain ambiguity.

And this because there is some ambivalence in the very idea of a world center symbolically represented by a city or an island or even a country (e.g. China, the 'Middle Kingdom') on a horizontal pla
ne, and the notion of a world axis that can also be represented by any of them but only inasmuch as they are perpendicularly traversed by it.

In my opinion, it is this circumstance that has originated the confusion between the heart chakra, on the one hand, symbolizing the world center, and the navel chakra, where the
world axis is more clearly represented by an umbilical cord, on the other.

Also the human body, inasmuch as a "microcosms" paralleling the "macrocosms" or universe, can express the symbol of the world axis. Some of the more abstract "Tree of Life" representations, like the
Sefirot in Kabbalism and in the Chakra system of Hinduism and Buddhism, convey the idea of the human body as a pillar between heaven and earth. Disciplines such as Yoga and Tai Chi begin from the premise of the human body as axis mundi (see http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/Axis_mundi).

Blessings,

Miguel
