Quote: lol ...Thanks for sharing! That was great! ;-)Hi Diana, ;-) I LOVE IT. With this thread, you have captured the true spirit of Adland Pro Community. I don't have any Retro pictures topost right now, wait a minute, I do have one. I will bring some more in later, but they won't be so scary. This thread is stirring up a lot of old memories. I remember a few things that my motherused to tell me. Every day, before I left the house to go to school she would ask if I had clean underwear on and then she would ad, "You never know when you will get hit by a car you know." On the way to school two thoughts went through my mind. Who did she pay to hit me?, and if I got hit by a car how would anyone know if my underware was clean or not? Another thing that she would tell me was that you had to eat a peck of dirt before you die, and then she would ad, "Open up now, there are only a couple of spoons left." My mother was an impatient woman, in fact when I was born she wasn't there. She got tired of waiting and went home. One day I asked my sister where I came from. She told me that aliens from another planet left me on the door step. I believed her because she looked like one. I was young then and I thought those two things on her chest were radar detectors. It was strange living in the 50's because everyone liked each other. No one locked their doors, you could buy a three year old car for $500.00, go to the local car hop where the girls came out to the car on roller skates and you could order a hamburgher with the works, large order of fries and a large A&W Root beer for under $5.00. It used to cost me around $4.00 or $5.00 to fill my gas tank. Things sure have changed since then. I used twodabs by the way. GOD BLESS YOU ~Mike~ http://www.countryvalues65.com I'mstill waiting!!!!
