Wow! Those look like serious scams! I had heard of the Jet 99 one but didn't know much about it at all. I'm glad I didn't join!

That's nice you sell Avon. That is definitely a safe business to be in. I'll keep that in mind in case I want to get some Avon products.

I have earned over $100.000 from one singles company. I should have earned double this. The company has been taken over 3 times and is now with original owners. Each time because of software changes it has made it more difficult to earn from then. In the latest takeover there has been is a complete software change and the software is so complicated I cannot help my affiliates earn money or even earn money myself. This will take 6 months to rectify. I do think myself lucky though.

I have a friend he was earning good money from another singles company, he was earning $3000 plus a month. That company got take over and dropped him as an affiliate so he now earns nothing.

A similar thing has happen to me. A lotto company I still work with got taken over, I lost 85 affiliate downline..

So you not only have to avoid scams; you need to work for several good companies so when or if one get's take over you still have some income streams.

It is really hard for new marketers now. In Australia there is one overloaded email gateway, so I can no longer send bulk emails even to my legitimate business members. I have to pay to get emails sent from USA. I am fortunate though as I have such a good lead generation system I don't need to send email now.

Thanks so much for the links. I will definitely look them over. You are right about the possibility of losing any company you work for. It can really be hard. It's always good to go with trusted ones, but even those can close down, get sold, etc -- just like with any 3-d business. Things do happen. I'm glad to hear you have found something that works so well for you!
