Hi Pat,
Thanks for visiting and for your important feedback. I have always believed aliens to be both the 'gods' and the 'demons' of the old scriptures, "good" aliens in the first case and "bad" aliens in the second. Other denominations are 'angels' and 'demigods', 'titans', et cetera. Once one accepts this, it all begins to make sense.
The ancients talked about them aliens. They were always aware of our "visitors" from above. They believed in a Heaven that was God himself, our Father, and in an Earth that was our Mother. The celestial beings could be visitors from other planets but also could be divine incarnations 'born of Heaven and Earth', that is of God himself and an earthly mother.
The world was both sacred and magical to them. That is why they revered so much the earth but mainly the skies. All their great temples were mainly observatories from which they would study the skies carefully. No wonder their studies, imbued with the sense of sacredness they had, would render fruitful results in the matter of astronomy and, from it, in agriculture. Now we may see the temples' outer shells and look at them in wonder at their beauty and magnificence, but often miss the radiant spirit that inspired the people to build them up, born of their very core inhabited by God himself, the Creator of All that exists.
Thanks again,
Miguel
