I don't much like the long legged one piece ladies costumes. Beach volleyball anytime for me. Lochte doesn't do it for me though.

Just saw the wonderful gold for Lithuania from the 15 year old who lives and trains in England and English coach.

Still lots of olympic records going. Amazing.

We are a little disappointed with our medal so far but for a nation of 63 million we do well.

China set for huge tally.

We think China puts a lot of pressure on their athletes. What do other countries think?

Even when they do well, the Chinese athletes don't look completely thrilled, as if they are wishing they could have done even better.

We also think the old total Russia put high pressure on their athletes, and since Russia broke into lots of small countries, the smaller Russia has been stressing that it's not a dominator anymore.

It hurts when expectations are not meant.

We thought that we had the Cycle road race sewn up but ganged up on and couldn't leave the pack.

Our girl did the silver though, so happier.

Yes,

I think there is huge pressure. These athletes train at the expense of all else. I don't think that USA or GB could do the hours and the education as well.
