I saw this in a post on FB and it really hits the nail on the head.
"We knew we were getting some character flaws with Trump. A brash, blue collar style businessman and builder from Queens, not a politician, and not a progressive, but rather, a capitalist. We know about his multi-marriages, we know about his womanizing and we know he has a baby boomer generation vision of women. It is all out there. We picked a leader to solve problems. If you want a moral leader then go see your priest, rabbi, or pastor. God chose David to lead his people, and David was filled with character flaws not unlike Trump. Lincoln chose a slovenly, crude, rude alcoholic to run the Union Army. He chose U.S. Grant and when asked why, Lincoln, said "I can't spare the man. He fights." Yes we knew who he was, but guess what? All these elites and Liberals did too, And when he was a private citizen in NY they fawned over him desiring to get him to fund projects and donate to charities. They are the hypocrites."
