Are You Looking, Are You Ready?

By Rev. Dean Beaty 7/2/12

Matthew 25:13 “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day

nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (KJV)

Are you looking for His coming, the coming of the Lord?

When Christ fulfills the prophecies that are promised in God’s Word.

Are you ready for Christ’s coming, His coming in the air?

Not everyone will meet Him. For this you must prepare.

Are you looking for a mansion, a mansion with a view?

If you’ve trusted Christ as Savior, He’s preparing one for you.

Christ promised, “If I go away, then I will come again

And receive you to myself.” Then eternity will begin.

Christ told us to be watching for the day when He returns.

We’ll see the Lord in person. For this day does your heart yearn?

No one knows the day for sure. Christ made that very clear.

Paul calls this our “blessed hope” which could be yet this year. Titus 2:13

That day is growing closer and eternity is at stake.

Have you trusted Christ as Savior? This decision you must make.

Christ promises that if you’ll come, He will not cast you out.

Trust in Jesus Christ alone and that removes all doubt.

John 14:1- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe

also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so,

I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and

prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;

that where I am, there ye may be also.” (KJV)

The Healing of a Nation

By Rev. Dean Beaty 6/30/12

II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name,

shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn

from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will

forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (KJV)

Congress cannot pass a law to save a nation’s soul.

Salvation is from God alone, only He can make one whole.

God warned Israel in its youth not to trust in men.

All of them have feet of clay and hearts are full of sin.

When a nation turns its back on the God who put it here,

There will be no help at all, nor peace when God’s not near.

The answer is not found in men, it’s found in righteousness.

Without God men are corrupt, and why we’re in this mess.

The peace of God is only found by walking with the Lord.

Fear and torment comes our way by trusting in the sword.

God told the fate of nations when they say to God, “farewell.”

That nation and its people will find their end in hell.

There is a cure for nations whose ways have become flawed.

They must humble themselves and pray, and seek the face of God.

It does not take the masses, just those who for God stand.

Then God will hear from heaven and then He’ll heal our land.

Psalm 9:17-18 “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the

nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten:

the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.” (KJV)

The Value of Your Soul

By Rev. Dean Beaty 7/4/12

Matthew 16:26-27 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” (KJV)

If a sparrow is worth a farthing and when dead is cast aside?

How much is a soul worth for which the Savior died?

If a man should gain the world and yet lose his own soul,

How much then is his profit if he has gained the whole?

The soul’s eternal value no one could calculate.

Therefore to us MOST precious, I doubt you would debate.

And yet some go a lifetime and give it little thought.

They do not prize it highly as God has said we ought.

Our soul will live forever through all eternity.

Have you given it much thought just where your soul will be?

Christ Jesus bled and died, though He was God’s own Son.

God placed the highest value on the soul of everyone,

What is the choice you’ve made about this gift God gave?

Have you trusted in His Son? Christ came your soul to save.

You’ve made one of three choices, which really are just two.

Accept - reject – neglect, which one of them is you?

Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him

that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (KJV)

The Foundations of Life

By Rev. Dean Beaty 7/6/12

I Corinthians 3:11 “For other foundation can no man

lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (KJV)

Would you start to build a house on that which was not sure?

Will you dare to build a life that God says will not endure?

All the pleasures of sin are only for a season.

The bitter fruit you’ll reap will last beyond all reason.
[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]
[endif]

Christ called the man a fool who built upon the sand. Matthew 7:26-27

If the foundation is weak then it will not long stand.

God said the soul that sinneth, it shall surely die. Ezekiel 18:20

He said sin would be judged, on that you can rely.

Christ spoke more about hell and judgment yet to come

And what your end will be if to Satan you succumb.

But our Savior made it clear, to enjoy eternity,

We must trust in Him by faith and receive His grace that’s free.

Before this hour goes by, of your heart and life take stock.

Your foundation, is it sure? Is it built on Christ the Rock? Psalm 18:1-2

There’s no other foundation than Jesus Christ God’s Son.

He paid the price for sin and o’er death the victory won.

Satan will promise much but it’s only to deceive.

Christ’s blood will save your soul, if only you’ll believe.

He’s standing at your door with salvation that is true. Revelations 3:20-21

Do not neglect God’s call that’s offered now to you.

Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him

that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (KJV)

Could This Be True of You?

By Rev. Dean Beaty 7/9/12

Matthew 7:22 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord,

Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that

doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (KJV)

Some people who attend church

Just go there and pretend church.

Could this be true of you?

Is this the thing you do?

Some people who profess Christ

Really don’t possess Christ.

Is the Savior real to you?

Is your profession true?

One who is a hypocrite,

In God’s kingdom will not fit.

If there’s no love for God,

Then salvation is a fraud.

If one’s faith is mere pretence,

Before God there’s no defense.

God’s eternity is long.

So my friend, don’t get it wrong.

Matthew 7:23-24 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord,

Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name

have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful

works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:

depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (KJV)
