Happy birthday to you better late than never I always say.
My mother who is in her 80's is always saying that age is 'just a wrinkle in time' and that what you do, how you feel and how you spend each day you are given is what matters the most.
Mom's favorite saying "You will not be remembered for how old you are but, what you have accomplished while you were here on this earth".
Not only is Mom good at spewing out words of wisdom.
She also makes the most rockin Belguim chocolate! I love my mom LOL!
In reference to your son...
I just lost my daughter this past June.
I can understand needing a 'rock' to help secure you during your time of adjustment.
I still have days where I miss her so much.
This Christmas was especially difficult.
I have the peace of knowing she is now safe, and out of pain.
