Hey Ken this is not an image but a image/video capture tool I have found quite use for capturing all kinds of image and text and turning them into graphics. Better yet it is FREE. http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-jing.html

Hi again Jim!

Wow!

This is awesome! And it is Free!

It took a while to go through some of the videos but the time was well worth it. I was immediately impressed as I think anybody who checks this out will be. I downloaded the Jing! Now I just have to learn how to use it. There are plenty of tutorials that I will have to get back to when I have more time. Here is my first attempt:

Download Jing for free

Well, that worked might as well try another one:

push the button
That one was taken off from one of Harvey Vickery's sites. I selected it and clicked on the broken sideways figure 8 above to remove the link location. Nothing against Harvey but I totally disagree with some of what he is saying. That is a topic for a new post sometime in the near future.

Thanks again Jim for this great resource. I hope others will use it and this forum to share their questions, answers, and opportunities related to capturing images ...and videos.

Ken

Here are a few images that my good friends in the Feature Of The Week (Person Of The Week)! forum posted:

This one by Stephen Hauser's profileStephen Houser.

Eeny, Meeny, Miny, an Moe

and also by
Kathy Hamilton.

Stephen also provided us with this fun seasonal game with a thoughtful fund raiser:

And our good friend Diane Bjorling 351ST POTW Award WINNER (Congratulations Diane)
Posted this useful graphic:

Awesome Thumbs Up

And she said ..."Where is that dang Like button when you need it...lol"

That brings me to this post in the Capture Image Thread!

I think everybody should have one of these threads in their own list of forums. That way you can always find those "... dang Like button when you need it...lol"

You can always capture graphics if you give credit to the source of your capture. Sometimes it is good to ask the source for permission before you do it, especially if they have a copy-write notice which you will usually find at the bottom of the page.

Have fun playing the seasonal game, create your own capture image thread, and make it a great day!

Ken
