THE WORD IS IN OUR OWN MOUTH"

"And in Deuteronomy the thirtieth chapter we are told that the word of power is not afar off but in our own mouths that we may know and do it. Here, again, Moses is bringing the burden of proof home to the individual life. Life is from within out, never from without in. The word is in our own mouth. The word is our own being. The word is our belief in Life and when that word is one with Life it IS Life.

Again we find a parallel between the teachings of Jesus and Moses. Moses tells us that the word is in our own mouth, and Jesus, that the Kingdom of Heaven is within. Language cannot state a proposition more clearly. The issues of life are from within. The Creative Spirit has imparted Its own life to us. We are made from Life and we are Life. The great teacher said, 'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.' And all men are alike.

The blessing or the curse is in our own mouth. "
