	Hi Roger, Freddy was an excellent painter in deed, however, as you can tell what is in a poet's mind by the words of his poems, you can also tell what is in the mind of a great painter by the choices of color in his paintings. Perhaps he had a dream once. Once, I had a dream that the world was pure as snow. I dreamed that all were happy everywhere that you go. My dreams would take me near and far. I didn't need a car. As long as my eyes were tightly shut, I couldn't see the smut. The skies were clear, and there was no fear and love would fill the air. Once I opened my eyes, I noticed the utter despair. If only we could change our world, and greet each one with arms unfurld. As children we could see no wrong, and we appreciated listening to a song. As we got older our world seemed much bolder. The beauty of our land and an outstretched hand, just did not seem the same. Sometimes I wish that my youth I could reclaim, reality is such a shame written just now by Michael James Caron The reason that I wrote this is because after viewing Frederick's paintings, (although they are wonderful) it is as though he woke out of a beautiful dream and saw the stark difference of reality.
