Hi Kathy,
Thank you so much for doing this for Shirley. Love comes in many forms. A dear friend of ours, Sandra Rutherford, and also a new member of AdlandPro, and her daughter Tammy came over today. They washed dishes, did laundry, took out trash, and even helped Shirley up when she needed to go to the bathroom. Now, it's not that I didn't do all those things myself, well, I was a little busy this past week. Shirley has sat down at the computer and seen the response of this beautiful community. Tears flowed. For a change, they were tears of happiness and not tears of pain. The doctors say that the clots were big and may take six months to disolve completely. Our next challenge is going to be her teeth. She has been told that her full top teeth have to come out, however, where she is now on blood thinners she has been told that three days before her teeth are removed she has to stop taking the blood thinners, which could result in more clots forming. She has gone through enough pain. I don't want her to have to endure more. Seeing her in all this pain and not being able to do more than hold her is realy making me feel helpless. I love her and honestly wish I could take her pain from her. Of course, I would definetely complain a lot more because I can't take pain.
God Bless Everyone that have been praying for her.
Mike
