No it's not Jim and no one knows that better than we do, do they? :)

From my understanding, the guy that was arrested had complained about a new policy that caused the long line of cars along a busy road, saying it was unsafe.

You know how it is though, you're not supposed to say anything or have an opinion about anything any more because if you do you're just a b*itch when certain people don't like what you say or how you say it and even more so when you're right and they know you're right. You and I especially can relate to that. :)

It ain't good to rile up rednecks, especially when they are in the right and the officer was using his authority to bully this man for personal reasons. IMHO There is more to this story

Sometimes I think the world has gone completely mad. As I watched this video I thought about how we're seeing more and more of ordinary citizens being harassed, abused and arrested for no good reason. I wonder if this resource officer might have short man syndrome or was it retaliation because the father had complained to the sheriff about the new pick up policy being unsafe. Seems as though you're not supposed to say anything about anything anymore and it has reached gigantic proportions in all levels of life.

Remember, school is out for the day and this father walked to the school to get his kids so what is wrong with this picture??Are we now living in a police state??

My good friend Suzi Hall just posted this on FB and I thought some of you might like to try it for Thanksgiving or Christmas, which isn't that far off. I thought it looked and sounded delicious.

I made this last year for Thanksgiving....a huge hit!!! Recipe: Cranberry Christmas Cake 3 eggs 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup butter, softened 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups flour 12 oz fresh cranberries Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With a mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar until slightly thickened and light in color, about 5-7 minutes. The mixture should almost double in size. The eggs work as your leavening agent in this recipe, so do not skip this step. This mixture should form a ribbon when you lift the beaters out of the bowl. Add the butter and vanilla; mix two more minutes. Stir in the flour until just combined. Add the cranberries and stir to mix throughout. Spread in a buttered 9x13 pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until very lightly browned and a toothpick inserted near the center of the cake comes out clean. (I baked mine for 43 minutes.) Let cool completely before cutting into small slices. I cut mine into fairly small pieces, about 1"x2", so that they could be easily eaten at a party. Enjoy!
