Today's Inspirational Quote

Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make, Something you do, Something you are, And something you give away.

You can't fix stupid because stupid is forever. :)

.

Former Boxer Called Rocky Knocks Out Man Taunting Him
He decided to pick on a rather plain-looking 54 year old.

But this wasn't an ordinary 54 year old.

Unbeknownst, perhaps, to the young bully, it was former WBA Featherweight Champion Rocky Lockridge (44-9, 36 KO).

The same Rocky Lockridge who knocked out a then-undefeated Roger Mayweather in just 98 seconds in 1984.

It's the same Rocky Lockridge who lost a somewhat arguable majority decision to a young Julio Cesar Chavez in 1986.
In the video...
Those around him warned the antagonist not to approach the former champ. A seemingly concerned onlooker yelled, "Don't go down there, don't go down there."

But he proceeded anyway, talking smack in the process. He got in Rocky's personal space and paid a price for his decision.

Love this idea........................

"Blessing Bags" to keep in the car when you pass homeless people. Something special you can do with your children or grandchildren to teach them about caring/giving for those in need!

"BLESSING BAGS"
...

INGREDIENTS:
Gallon Size Ziplock bags
Chap stick
Packages of tissues
Travel size toothbrush and toothpaste
Travel size mouthwash
Comb
Soap
Hotel size shampoos
Trail mix
Granola bars
Crackers
Pack of gum
Band aids
Hand wipes
You could also put in a warm pair of socks
A packet rain poncho
Tampons (for women)

The ideas could be endless!

Assemble all the items in the bags, and maybe throw in a note of encouragement. Seal the bags and stow in your car for a moment of providence...or....drop some off at a food shelter place.
