They ‘hacked’ them with some electronics and pots of colorful paint to create ‘Rhythmical Potties’. These seven brightly colored toilets each played a different sound, and they lit up and made music only when they were occupied.

This made waiting to use the porta-potties more fun, as people could listen to the catchy sounds while standing outside. Also, it created a kind of interactive installation, and if seven people contributed by occupying all of them at once, they played a synchronized tune.
