Quote:GREAT videos Peter, and though they're all very good, and maybe someone will translate for us, the last one is my favorite. :)Quote:Hi Evelyn & All,Here are a few videos of full orchestras with Waldemar Malicki and Tamara Granat. Some of the videos have a bit of chat in them with no subtitles but the resulting music is quite worth waiting for IMO.They all seem to have lots of fun and are definitely first class musicians, singers and performers. I had fun watching them and couldn't help smiling with a few of their antics.I initially watched the first video and enjoyed it and then started clicking on other performances and had loads of fun. some of you might want to keep on clicking since there are lots to choose from.I believe most of the dialogue is in Polish and if someone can translate we might enjoy the humor as well as the music.Shalom,Peter'interesting' concert with Waldemar Malicki and Tamara Granathttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbePGBafs6gthe lion sleeps tonighthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=dhxS1oSdcnYWaka Waka http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFr4QYoaG_k&feature=endscreen&NR=1This one has Hava Nagilah as the finalehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=7m554kyyibU

Inspirational Quote of the Day
Find a time and place of solitude. Look into the distance, and into the future. Visualize the tomorrow you are going to build - and begin to build that tomorrow, today.

Hmmmm, since you say you can carry a tune quite well Peter, you can sing me a song sometime when we're on skype. Do you take requests or will I just have to wait and be surprised? :)
Quote:Hi Evelyn, Amanda & All,I thought they were all good and I liked the last one a bit more cos it had renditions of Jewish music with Hava Nagilah as the finale which made it a bit more special for me.I love music and for those that know me well Jazz and Classical music are very special to me and I love renditions of Classical music that add humor and fun in their performances. But, I enjoy all good music and I find myself singing to myself and in the shower all the time as I'm sure many of you do as well. I wouldn't think of recording myself even though I can carry a tune quite well I'll leave my voice for my family to enjoy or "suffer" through (and the shower of course since it can't complain :)).That said there are those who aren't professional singers and when I listen to their recordings I thoroughly enjoy them and Luis Miguel is one of them and Roger Mc is another. Keep em coming Luis Miguel and Roger Mc! Maybe I'm being out of line here but most of the others should leave their voices as I have in the shower and not inflict others with their lack of ability to carry a tune. Or in the threads that are dedicated to recordings of this sort ....... or possibly in one of the many joke threads here in Adland. :) It's not my intention to ruffle any feathers with my post but this thread is dedicated to honesty, one's feelings, experiences etc. and that's my honest opinion. Evelyn, I want to congratulate you on your well deserved POTY win. WTG my friend and enjoy your year in the lime light.Shalom,PeterQuote:GREAT videos Peter, and though they're all very good, and maybe someone will translate for us, the last one is my favorite. :)Quote:Hi Evelyn & All,Here are a few videos of full orchestras with Waldemar Malicki and Tamara Granat.
