Evelyn,
Oh yes, you have delightful southern accent. I have neighbours here who were from Virginia and I had to really listen because their accent is hard to understand - I am much better now as I have been here for over a year and got use to them.
Some accents are just harder to understand than others, yet they so many of the people I speak with are from around here - it is quite astonishing to me that it can be different.
What method would you suggest I use to record and upload? We need some suggestions what works the best in here.
I have heard Roger sing before, I have heard many Pomes (People of Mother England) voices over the years.

Know what Amanda, I can't sing but I can talk. LOL!! Don't you think it would be neat to record ourselves, maybe saying hello to everyone or telling a little bit about ourselves? Then everyone could hear your Kiwi accent and my southern accent. I have found it so strange when talking with people down here in SW Florida, they'll say where are you from, what is that accent? I have even had people say, I bet you're from Tennessee. I guess it is more pronounced than I realized and evidently more unique, not sure the word "unique' is the word I'm looking for but hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say. We'll have to see if Roger will also sing us a song with his British accent. Quote:
Hello Miguel, Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed listening to you sing. I liked your accent in there too :)
When I read everyone writing in english it is often forgotten that we all have different accents when we speak.

Quote: Hi Mary Evelyn,
Mike recently suggested that I post some of my recordings in your forum and while I still don't have any of them as a YouTube video, I do have in its original format this gem of a song created by George Gershwin that I would be happy you and your visitors hear (http://www.singsnap.com/karaoke/r/c297546c4).
I hope it is okay with you.
Thank you,
Miguel
