Hi Evelyn,

I never gave it a thought to look it up. I have always thought that men could not handle illness like women. I thought this was a joke. Sorry guys, I didn't really believe that you were suffering so. It was my mother said about Daddy, " he just can't take being sick". She always blamed it on his mother catering to him. He was the only boy and had 8 sisters.

Sad to think that men do really hurt a lot. I have also seen some man take a lot of pain and never complain at all and I wondered how they could handle it.

Gee this has been food for thought. Thanks for looking it up Evelyn.

Myrna, it is the same with women, some can't handle being sick while some never slow down so my guess is it depends on the person, male or female.
