I'm sure some of you die hard sports fans can relate to this young guy's disappointment. I've encountered a few of these die hard fans in my time. :)

Young Tennessee fan not pleased with being stuck on “the red team”

There's a certain beauty in this clip. Not because it makes a 4-year old kid distressed, but because it shows the simplicity of being a fan.

When the kid, in his Tennessee jersey, is given the news he's on the "red team" for flag football, he can't understand. ("Ewwwww," he responds, in one of the many great moments in the clip).

The simple thought of having to wear a color other than orange is upsetting to the young kid.

"Well, they're not the Georgia Bulldogs," the mom says, understanding that might be the trick that cheers him up.

There are certain rules that come with being a football fan, even at age 4, and they include not being asked to wear red if you root for Tennessee. And I'm sure there's some kid in Georgia that would feel the same way about being told he's on the orange flag football team.

Inspirational Quote of the Day
To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived this is to have succeeded.

Myrna, just in case you didn't get to watch the finale tonight of America's Got Talent, this is especially for you. There was some amazing talent this year and I thoroughly enjoyed Howard Stern as a new judge. :)
