RE: Mary Evelyn's Koffee Klatch

Hi Lydia, as I do not understand or know the Russian language I thought it was a flash mob dance like I've seen videos of before. I did not perceive it to be a gay pride parade Lydia, but a random flash mob doing their thing. I did wonder about the bride and groom and actually thought that maybe this flash mob was performing just for them. See what I get for thinking. :) So what you're saying is it was a political action and not a flash mob? I would never have guessed. :)

I am stunned!
Thanks Mary Evelyn for sharing the video with Russian dancers, performing break-dance with the American song "Puttin' on the Ritz!"
This occurred on February 26 2012 near the Moscow State University (MSU).
I studied in the MSU from 1963 to 1970 years.
Very interesting video,
I did not see it until your reference.
This is not a flash mob!
This is the highly professional electoral roll for Putin.
At 5:20 the bride clearly sings in Russian, "[Putin molodec] (well done)"
It is the subconscious as a 25 frame.
Who does not know the Russian language, they can not hear this.
English-speacking people are perceived this as a gay pride parade.
Russian-speaking people do not hear "If You are blue ..."
How do you perceive?
Lydia

What a crazy, delightful ever changing world! Who could have thought that in 2012 young people in Moscow would put on a "flash mob" happening, dancing to an 83 year old American song written by a Russian born American-Jew (Irving Berlin) whose last name is the capital of Germany...

Ben Franklin was brilliant, he created a language, among his other achievements, and also wrote a bestselling booklet about the health benefits of drinking a pint of beer daily...it sold over 10,000 copies in the 13 colonies :)

When I saw this on Yahoo News made me realize that regardless of all the hate and evil in the world there is still lots of love and compassion too. :)

Hi Kathleen, wow, 10,000 copies in the 13 colonies was certainly a huge achievement considering how sparsely the US was populated back then.
