Hi friends, in last years American Idol program there was a delightful young man, only 16 at the time, who immediately captured my attention and I was rooting for him from the first time I watched him at his audition. Not only did he win but also his debut single sold over a million copies and now he has won ACM's New Artist Of The Year award. I couldn't find a youtube video of his guest appearance last week on American Idol because it appears they have all been removed for some unknown reason. I did find a video but it is not a youtube but I did find the youtube of his original audition and listen to how prophetic Jennifer Lopez's comments at the end were.

I remember this one and did see this.

I am pretty sure our good Lord stuck

a country thingy in his mouth as a baby.

It was kind of funny watching him perform

when it was other then country. It still sounded

country, and he is the voice. I also remember the great

talent that was in that competition.

Very good and everyone seemed a little supprised

at the outcome. What is going on now is just

very uplifting to watch. These special talented

performers are outstanding.

What a crazy, delightful ever changing world! Who could have thought that in 2012 young people in Moscow would put on a "flash mob" happening, dancing to an 83 year old American song written by a Russian born American-Jew (Irving Berlin) whose last name is the capital of Germany...

Hi Mark, yes there's some very good talent again this year but for some reason I haven't been able to pick a favorite. I keep thinking every week that maybe I will, but so far I haven't. At this point which ever one wins from those left will be fine with me. Considering how well Scotty has done, since winning last season, tells me that there was some special quality he had that made him stand out to me. Hope you have a wonderful day.
