Inspirational Quote of the Day

Nothing contributes so much to tranquilize the mind as a steady purpose - a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye.

Hi Helen, Evelyn,
I have not seen this video before. I agree Evelyn, it would be funny for the first few minutes but I would also be quite annoyed to have to wander around after soaking wet especially if this shop was one of the first places James and I stopped at and we had other errands to run, as we are a distance from town to home and especially trying to save on gas.
I wonder if they had full body dryers in the restrooms to stand in front of or maybe they had clothes driers and bathrobes to put on while your clothes dried off.

Hi Helen, I had seen this before but it has been a looonnnng time ago and as I watched, I had to laugh again. To be honest though, if something like this happened to me I would be furious. Can you imagine how uncomfortable it would be wearing soaking wet clothing until you could get home and get changed and what if the temperature outside was cold or you were riding in a car with cloth seats? The seats would probably take a long to dry.

You'll enjoy this even if you've seen it before.....

It must have come from the same friend. It was amazing to me that this little harmonica could go up so high and low. There is more to blowing into this small harmonica than I ever though possible

I just got this in an email from a good friend and since I enjoyed it so much I thought you all would too.:)

I enjoyed these 4 videos very much, young Geoffrey is so talented and these were hard tunes to play with the variations of high and low notes as well as the first video how fast he played in areas of this Yellow Rose of Texas variation. Wow!

Hi friends, I hope everyone enjoys the videos of this fabulous young trumpet player who has been playing since he was four years old. I was blown away by how talented he is for one so young. Amazing!!

Every bit a showman--even at just barely 11yrs old--Geoff knows how to play to his audience. Here he treats hisPlano Community Band (Texas) audience to a thrilling rendition of 'Yellow Rose of Texas'. Dressed the part in cowboy hat and bolo tie, too bad the video can't show the nice boots Geoff had picked up there in Dallas just for the occasion...Geoff did however proudly show them off to the crowd before starting in on this.
